Greetings sports fanatics!! Tonight was a NCAA D3 Tourament double header at DeSales! The 1st game featured the Mary Washington Eagles and the Roger Williams Hawks. The Eagles offense got off to a hot start, as they led 13-9 after 1 quarter. The Hawks would start to find their groove, as they cut the Eagles lead to 1, 28-27, at halftime. The Hawks continued their hot play, as they took the lead 47-42 after the 3rd quarter. The teams battled back and forth in the 4th. With the Eagles up by 3 with 3:24 left in the game, Adeline Riner hit a 3 to extend the Eagles lead to 59-53. That would be the death blow for the Hawks, as the Eagles won 69-60! Riner stated after the game it felt good for the Eagles to advance to the 2nd round!
