Becca Parkland

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Becca Golden Hawks hosted the Parkland Trojans. Parkland got the scoring started in the 1st quarter Nakhi Bullock scored on a double reverse. The Trojans made it 14-0 when Trey Tremba scored on a 14 yard run. Tremba struck again in the 2nd quarter when he caught a 48 yard pass from Luke Spang to extend the Trojans lead by 21. With a little more that 4 left til half, Sprang hit Luke Harrison for a 8 yard pass to put the Trojans up 28-0. Parkland would kick a field goal with less than 2 minutes left to go into the half up 31-0. In the 3rd quarter, Becca finally got on the board when Luke Thomas found a wide open Jaiden Ellis-Lahey for a 10 yard score to make it 31-6. Marquez Wimberly, a rising freshman star for the Trojans, added a 20 yard scoring run to cap Parklands scoring at 38-6. Rahmel Terry ended the scoring by scoring on a 6 yard run and caught the 2 point conversion to make the final 38-14. Wimberly stated after the game he is thankful for the Trojans coaching staff for giving him the opportunities he recieved.
