Boston Lafayette Terrior reaches milestone



Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards hosted the Boston University Terriers. The Terriers were coached by former Notre Dame star Melissa Graves. Both teams started off hot, as evident by the Terriers 15-13 lead after the 1st quarter. The game would remained tied at 22 all with 5:25 left in the 2nd quarter. That was the moment when Caitlin Weimar took the game over for the Terriers. After started 2-7, Weimar would make her next 6 shots and the Terriers held a 34-27 advantage into half. It was all over for the Leopards after Wiemar's stretch, as the Terriors rolled to a 23-7 3rd quarter. With 7:34 left in the game, Sydney Johnson hit a jumper that not only extended the Terriers lead to 62-37, it also gave her 1,000 points for her career!! Both players would be done for the day, as the Terriors won 66-48. Both players stated after the game that it was a great start to what they want to accomplish at the end of the season!
