Burke’s goal leads Patriots to Districts

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Freedom Lafy Patriots soccer team hosted the Liberty Hurricanes on Senior night. Freedom dominated the majority of the night but couldn't capitalize on their opportunities. With 30 seconds left in the game, the Pats finally broke through when Grace Burke shot a liner passed the Liberty and Freedom held on for a 1-0 victory to clinch a spot in Districts! Burke stated it was a huge moment for the program after barely missing Districts last season.
