The Pats extended the lead to 10 midway through the 3rd quater, but the Mounties began to rally and cut the deficit to 5, 49-44. The Moutaineers took the lead 56-54 with 2 mintues left to play. The Pats tried to force a turnover by knocking the ball away from Dallas star Nick Williams, but he recovered to make a layup to make it a 4 point game. The Mountaineers held on from there in a 66-59 victory! Williams, who finished with 21 points, stated it is always nice to beat a non confrence team in a higher division.
