Dunmore Imhotep

Greetings sports fanatics! Today Liberty hosted a Piaa state tourament triple header! The first game was a women contest between the Dunmore Bucks and the Imhotep Panthers. The Bucks defense smothered the Panthers offense in the 1st half as Dunmore led 35-25 at half. However, it was 3rd quarter that doomed the Panthers, as the Bucks, led by UNC recruit Ciera Toomey who scored 8 of her 14 points in the quarter, outscored Imhotep 20-4. The Panthers couldn't recover, and the Bucks advanced with a 52–34 victory! Toomey stated after the game the 3rd quarter was the turning point of the game.
