Emmaus Freedom

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Freedom Patriots hosted the Emmaus Green Hornets. Both teams got off to a hot start as the Patriots led 18-17 after one quarter. The hot shooting continued as Freedom led 30-27 at half. Both teams picked up right where they left off as the Pats led 47-44 after three quarters of play. The Green Hornets would tie the game up at 60 and had a chance to win it with 18 seconds left. However, Emmaus couldn't get the shot to go and game went to overtime. With Freedom up one with 11.3 seconds left, Will Barber drew a foul and made both free throws to put the Green Hornets up 66-65! Freedom had one last shot, but Nick Ellis couldn't connect and Dylan Darville grabbed the rebound to secure the Green Hornets victory! Barber stated after the game it was a good victory despite the team not playing their best game.
