Fitzgerald’s punt return sparks Pirates past Warriors

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Wilson Warriors football team hosted the Palisades Pirates. It was a tight one through 3 quarters as Palisades led 14-6. The Pirates would put the game away in the 4th when Ashton Fitzgerald fielded a punt at the 50 and returned it to the Warriors 9 yard line! Jack Tricket would punch it in two plays later and the Pirates would add an insurance score to finish with a 29-6 victory! Fitzgerald stated it felt good to help his team snap a 3 game losing streak.
