Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Freedom Patriots played host to the Whitehall Zephers. Ethan Neidig scored Freedoms first 2 touchdowns on 1 yard runs to make it 14-0 in the 1st quarter. Both TDs were set up by huge runs from Jalen Fletcher, going for 63 and 43 yards! A interception led to a 62 yard touchdown run by Nigel Linton to help the Zephers cut the Pats lead in half 14-7. Fletcher punched the ball in from the 1 yard line to extend the Pats back to 14 21-7. Another interception led to a Whitehall field goal just before the half to make it 21-10. Fletcher scored another TD early in the 3rd quarter to make it 27-10. Kyle Johnson scored the Patriots final score with 9 minutes left in the game to make the lead 33-10. The Zephers would cap the scoring with 6 minutes left when Trey Dogmantis hit Aiden Parvel for a 26 yard score to make the final 33-17! Fletcher, who ran for 253 yards on only 20 carries, stated it was a special performance but the best is yet to come!
