Huskies earn 1st win of the season over rival Canaries

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the William Allen Canaries and the Dieruff Huskies battled it out at Coke-Cola Park, home of the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. The Huskies led wire-to-wire and earned their first victory of the season 4-2! Jean Varela had 2 RBIs and earned the victory by going 3.1 innings and allowing only 2 runs. Varela stated it felt great to snap the Huskies’s 5 game losing streak.!
