Greetings sports fanatics! Today I want to give some thoughts about the Lafayette Leopards football team. After watching the Leopards 28-20 victory over the Monmouth Hawks, I believe they have a great chance to compete for the Patriot League title. The offense has shown improvement from the previous season. Dean DeNobile is off to a solid start in his first year as a starter, completing 36 of 56 passes for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns through 4 games. The rushing game, led by Jamar Curtis, ranks 3rd in the Patriot League with an average of 173.6 yards per game. The defense has picked up right where they left off last year despite missing a few key pieces. They currently led the league in sacks with 13. The Leopards are off to their best start since 2012. Way to go Pards!
