Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards played host to the Loyola Greyhounds. Lafayette got off to a hot start, shooting 73 percent in the 1st quarter en route to a 25-16 lead. The Greyhounds would rebound in the second half, as they held the Leopards to 6 points in the 2nd to take a 32-31 advantage at half. The Leopards regained their shooting form from the 1st quarter as both teams were tied at 47 through 3. In the 4th, the Greyhounds defense, led by Lex Therien, held the Leopards offense to only 8 points as the Hounds pulled away for a 66-55 victory! Therien finished with 17 points and 20 rebounds. Lex credited her father Chris Therien, a former player for the Philadelphia Flyers, for her delvelopment as a player after the game!
