Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards hosted the Navy Midshipmen. Both teams struggled early on, as Navy led 10-8 after 1 quarter. Neither team couldn't break their slumps in thr 2nd quarter, as the Midshipmen held a 23-22 advantage at half. In the 3rd quarter, it was all Leopards. Led by two clutch 3s by Abby Antognoli, part of a career high 24 point game, the Leopards outscored the Midshipmen 28-10 en route to a 50-33 lead after 3! Navy would cut the deficit to 9 late in the 4th quarter, but couldn't get any closer as the Leopards held on for a 69-57 victory!! Antognoli stated after the game they slowed themselves down which led to the big 3rd quarter.
