Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards played host to the UMBC Retrievers. The Leopards led at halftime 26-16 despite the fact that neither team shot particularly well. The Leopards however pulled away in the 3rd quarter by outscoring the Retrievers 22-10. Another big 4th quarter, outscoring UMBC 24-12, gave the Leopards a 72-38 victory. Jessica Booth had her best shooting day for the Leopards, scoring 11 points on 5-7 in 27 minutes with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Booth stated after the game that she was more confident in her shots tonight.
