Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Phillipsburg Stateliners hosted the North Hunterdon Lions. The Liners started off strong as they put their first 3 shots passed Alex Milne for a quick 3-0 lead in the 1st quater. Milne and the Lions D would keep Pburg in check for the rest of the game, as they rallied for a big 10-8 victory. Milne sealed the victory in the final mintue. With a mintue left, Pburg cut their deficit to 2 and had a chance to bring them within 1. However, Milne made a miraculous save and delivered a huge hit to the Pburg shooter to deny the Stateliners their golden opportunity! Milne , who finished with 12 saves, stated it was a great effort to adjust to the Liners offense after the 1st quarter!
