Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Pburg Stateliners hosted the North Hunterdon Lio s, who where ranked 11th. In a game that had 4 errors through the first two innings and a combined one run through 4, the Liners led 4-3 in the top of the 7th. The Lions would tie the game via a wild pitch after the lead off batter drew a walk. Nick Hernandez drew another walk to bring up Duke recruit Chris Sand up to the plate. Sand would line a double to right field to score Hernandez and give the Lions the lead 5-4! Brandon Suler would shut the Liners offense down in the bottom of the 7th to secure the win for the Lions! Sand stated that he had a target on his back after his commitment to the Blue Devils but claimed that" in moments like this you gotta prove it"
