Moravian Keystone

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Moravian Greyhounds hosted the Keystone Giants. The Giants scored on their first play on a 81 yard flea flicker from Michael Bond to Jayson Nami. The Greyhounds would answer on the following drive as Jared Jenkins found Brad Bryan for a 4 yard score and the Hounds lead 7-6 after one. With the Giants threatening in the 2nd, Shea Endman intercepted a Paul Drummond pass and returned it 82 yards for the score to give Moravian a 14-6 advantage. However, the Giants would score on their next two possessions and a 2 point conversion after the second score hand Keystone a 20-14 lead. Cameron Tinajero would tied it for the Greyhounds with a 21 yard run, but the XP was blocked. The Giants needed only 3 plays to regain the lead as Drummond hit Nami for his second TD of the day, this time for 62 yards. The Greyhounds weren't deterred, as Jenkins hit Nick Coffaro for 39 yards, and the Greyhounds took a 28-27 lead after a successful two point conversion by Nick Boyle. That was the turning point of the whole game, as the Greyhounds defense, led by Jeremiah Espinosa, held the Giants scoreless from that moment to 4 mintues left in the 4th. During that period, the Greyhounds scored 30 unanswered points and had a 58-28 advantage. The Giants got the final TD on a 21 run by Damir Green, but it was too little too late as Moravian won 58-34! Both Jenkins and Espinosa stated it was a great team effort!
