Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Parkland Trojans hosted the Nazareth Blue Eagles. After an uneventful first 3 quarters, the score was 3-3 heading into the 4th. The Trojans finally found the endzone when Luke Spang hit Leo Dauberman for 36 yards to make it 10-3 Parkland. The Blue Eagles tied the game on the following possession when Jed Bendekovits punched it in from 26 yards out. The Trojans regained the lead with 3:31 left thanks to a 16 yard run by Trey Tremba. After a Peyton Falzone touchdown brought Nazareth to 1 with 1:03 left, the Blue Eagles decided to go for 2. The Eagles took a page out of Philly's playbook as Mason Kuehner found Frankie Mroz and gave Nazareth gained their first lead of the game! Parkland drove the ball into Nazareth's 10 yard line, but the Trojans fumbled the ball on the game's final play and Marquez Wimberly burned his old team for 91 yards to make the final 24-17 in favor of the Blue Eagles!! Both Wimberly and Kuehner stated it was a great win for the program!
