Greetings sports fanatics! Today was a full day of basketball at Northampton Community College. There were two doubleheaders, one girls and one boys.
The first game of the girls double header pitted the North all stars against the South all stars. In a very tight contest, the South all stars pulled out a 61-57 victory! Vatijah Davis of Pocono Mountain West was named the MVP for the North team with a double-double consisting of 28 points and 13 rebounds. The South's MVP was Kayla Orth of Liberty, who had 17 points. Orth stated after the game all of the pratice she put in helped to prepare her for todays game.
In game 2, the West all stars outlasted the East all stars 61-58! The MVPs where Madi Szoke of Central Catholic for the West and Keturah Stewart of Freedom for the East.
