Greetings sports fanatics! Today I covered the huge matchup between the Saucon Valley Panthers and the ND Crusaders! Saucon Valley jumped on top early when Liam Buck hit a RBI single to score starting pitcher Rocky Viscito in the top of the first. The Panthers would plate two more runs via a wild pitch and sacrifice fly. SV two draw tw/o bases loaded walks to bring runs in to make the lead 5-0. Jacob Albert would deliver the death blow by hitting a double which cleared the bases. Jacob Klotz would hit a 2 run HR to end a 7 run inning for the Panthers. The Crusaders would score the only run in the bottom of the 4th by a wild pitch. The Panthers would add 3 runs in the top of the 5th to cap the scoring at 13-1. Viscito pitched a complete game despite being struck by a line drive in the second inning. Rocky stated that the offense, led by Klotz’s 4 RBIs, helped him regain his composure and finished the game.
