ND SV

Greetings sports fanatics! Today I covered the Colonial Semifinal matchup between Notre Dame and Saucon Valley. ND got the scoring started right away when Colin Quintano hit the second pitch of the game for a home run, SV struck right back as Liam Buck hit an RBI single to tied it at 1. The Panthers would plate 2 more runs in the bottom of the 4th to take a 3-1 lead. After ND drew a bases loaded walk to cut the deficit to 3-2, Logan Castellanos was up to bat. He hit a 1-2 fastball over the left fielder head to clear the bases to put the Crusaders up for good 5-2. ND would plate to more runs to extend their lead to 7-3. The Panthers cut the lead to 7-4 in the bottom half of the 5th, but that would be as close as they would get. The Crusaders added 2 more runs in the last inning to make the final 9-4. Logan stated that the key to his clutch at bat was just to have fun out there.
