Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Liberty Hurricanes hosted the Northampton Konkrete Kids. Both teams got off to a hot shooting start as they were tied at 11 after 1. Liberty took a 24-22 halftime lead thanks to a Dywane Chess jumper with 1:02 left in the 2nd. Northampton would ended up taking the lead after the 3rd quarter 35-34. With 1:22 left in the game and the Hurricanes up 41-40, Tyler Kauffman hit a huge 3 to put the K Kids up for good 43-41! Liberty had one last shot with 15 seconds left, but Chess couldn't get the jumper to go and Northampton held on for the huge upset! Kauffman stated after the game it was a great team victory after a disappointing loss to Parkland on Tuesday.
