Northwestern Lehigh Moravian

Greeting sports fanatics! Today I covered the Northwestern Lehigh-Moravian Academy baseball game. Northwestern got the scoring started off in the top of the 1st when Tanner Romig hit a sacrifice fly to right. The Tigers would add one in the 2nd and one in the 5th, both courtesy of two errors. The fatal blow was dealt in the top of the sixth when Dylan Witkowzki lead off with a double. He would score on Zach Russo’s double to make it 4-0 in favor of the Tigers. Northwest would tack on 4 more runs to make the final score 8-0. Romig would also throw a complete game, allowing only 3 hits while striking out 13! Tanner stated that the key to his success was by pitching to contact and make the Lions hit him.
