Greetings sports fanatics! Today Freedom hosted a PIAA quarterfinal doubleheader. The Imhotep Panthers saw a 31-13 halftime lead evaporate in game 1, but held on to knock off the previously undefeated Abington Heights Comets 56-46! UConn commit Ahmad Nowell lead the Panthers with 25 points. The Scranton Prep Cavaliers pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the year in game, as they defeated the two time state finalists Neumann Goretti Saints in a classic 76-75!! Brycen Martin paced the Cavs with a career high 28 points. Both players stated that even though it wasn't pretty, the job wasn't finished yet!
