Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Phillipsburg Stateliners played the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters at the Easton Rotary Basketball Classic. The Stateliners dominated the 1st half of the game, going into the half up 26-16. Pburg continued their hot shooting as they held their 10 point lead 45-35 through the 3rd quarter. However, the Hatters used a 12-2 run in the final 5 mintues to sent the game to overtime tied at 47. In OT, Mathew Scerbo scored the first 4 points for Pburg, and the Stateliners never looked back, scoring the Hatters 11-4 to secure a 58-51 victory! Scerbo stated after the game it was a huge step in defending their Rotary title.
