In game 2 of the triple header on Sunday at Freedom, the Scranton Knights defeated the Garnett Valley Panthers in overtime 52-49! The game started the same way as the game prior with neither team getting consitent shots to fall. Scranton held a measley 18-17 lead at halftime. Late in the forth quarter, Scraton at a 44-42 lead when a shooting foul gave the Jaguars Max Koehler two free throws and he converted
them both to tie the game
In overtime, Garnett Valley led 49-48 when Jason Shields hit a lap up to put Scranton up. Dillion Lazdowsky forced a turnover and hit two critical free throws to extend the lead to three. The Jags had a chance to tie it, but the shot by Drew Van Horn rimmed out at the last second. Despite the circumstances, Lazdowsky claimed he felt no pressure at the free throw line.
