Quakertown DH game one

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Quakertown Blazers played the Ocean Ospreys in a doubleheader. In game 1, it was a pitching duel between Joe Valenti of Misericordia and Joseph Vilo of Castleton State. Casey Caufield of Monmouth broke the deadlock in the bottom of the 6th when he hit a long double to drive in pinch runner RJ Huth of Chestnut Hill. Owen Petrich of Delaware added an insurance run with a single to drive in Thomas Faggioni of Alvernia to make it 2-0. That would be all the run support Valenti needed, as he pitched a 1-2-3 7th to close the victory for the Blazers! Valenti, who allowed only 4 hits while striking out 8, stated that he trusted his pitches and defense to get him out of a jam in the 6th, when he gave up 2 one out singles before getting the next two batters out.
