Scranton takes first place by stomping Southside

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Southside Railers played host to the Scranton Miners in a battle for 1st place in the Nothern Division of the ECCBL. Scranton would come away victorious with a surprising 13-3 desicion. The Miners hit 5 HRs, two by Wilkes's Luke Spencer, and Jake Memoli of Fairfield held the potent Railers to only 2 hits in 6 innings! Both Spencer and Memoli stated the victory was a spark to start a stretch where they play 4 games in 3 days!
