Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Notre Dame Green Pond hosted the Southern Lehigh Spartans today! It was an exciting game all the way until the very end. With ND leading 28-21 in the 4th quarter, SH drove to the Crusaders 3 yard line with 2 minutes left. After a timeout, Cade Sawyer plowed ahead for a 3 yard TD run. Instead of tying the game, Sawyer punched the ball in on a 2 point try to give the Spartans a 1 point lead 29-28! The Spartans defense forced a 4 and out to seal the victory. Sawyer ran for 203 yards and added 39 more on receptions! Cade credited the offense line for his early season success, after rushing for 102 yards in the season opener!
