Smith’s 1st career goal leads Spartans past Patriots

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Freedom Patriots hosted the Southern Lehigh Spartans in a EPC-Colonial league matchup. The Spartans needed only a mintue into the game to get started, as Saige Smith scored her first career goal to give SL a quick 1-0 lead! The Spartans would add another goal before the half, and the D would keep the Pats off the board for a 2-0 victory. Smith stated it was a great feeling to get her 1st varsity goal.
