Stroudsburg Freedom

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Stroudsburg Mountaineers hosted the Freedom. Defense was the name of the game, as both teams failed to score for the majority of the first half. The Patriots finally had a breakthrough in the second quarter, as Shacre Colwell intercepted a pass and returned it to Stroudsburg 29 yard line. A few plays later, Chase Walker kept it himself for a 2 yard score with 16 seconds left until half. The Patriots scored the final points in the 3rd quarter on a 1 yard run by Noah Pierre. The Mounties had one last chance to make a late run, but Colwell recorded his 2nd interception of the game to seal it for the Pats 14-0! Colwell stated after the game it was a great defensive effort for the whole team!
