Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Moravian Academy Lions played host to the Wilson Warriors. Wilson got the scoring started in the top of the 1st when Gunner Scheetz hit an RBI single to drive in Cooper Miller. The Lions tied it in the bottom half of the 1st thanks to a SF by Jackson Reid. The Warriors regain the lead in the top of the 2nd due to a 2 RBI triple by Noah Wallaesa. The Lions cut to deficit to 1 due to 2 Warrior errors.Wilson extended the lead to 4-2 in the top of the 4th with an RBI single by Gavin Partridge. The Lions again cut it to 1 with another error in the bottom of the 4th. In the 5th, Winston Hornik hit a 2 RBI double to give the Lions their 1st lead of the game 5-4. With one out and bases loaded in the top of the 6th, Wallaesa came up huge for the Warriors, hitting a 3 RBI triple off Charles Bingham to regain the lead for Wilson 7-5! The Warriors offense never looked back, tagging Bingham for 12 runs over the final 2 innings to make the final 16-5! Wallaesa stated after the game the team never gave up after giving up the lead in the 5th inning.
