Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Wilson Warriors hosted the undefeated Palmerton Blue Bombers. The Bombers got off to a hot start and led 15-11 after 1 quarter. Both teams couldn't get any momentum in the 2nd quarter, as Palmerton led only by 2, 19-17, at half. Coming out of break, the Warriors stepped their game up as they tied the Bombers 32 all after 3. The Palmerton would make it a 1 point deficit with 5:35 left in the game, 43-41. However, Austin Johnson gave the Warriors they big break they needed when he hit back to back breakaway layups. The Bombers couldn't recover and the Warriors ended up with a 57-52 upset victory! Johnson stated after the game he hopes this win will boost the team's moreale after a tough start to the season!
