Wolff Division wins All Star

Greetings sports fanatics! Tonight was the ACBL All Star game between the Wolff Division and the Kaiser Division. It was a back and forth game for the first 5 innings. In the bottom of the 6, Trevor Kilinski of Michigan broke the game open for the Wolff Division with a 2 RBI single that plated Drew Guerra of St Thomas Aquinas and Aydan McNelly of Daytona St to make the score 4-2 Trevor would later score on a SF by Michael Lagravenus of TCNJ to make it 5-2 Wolff. The Wolff would explode in the 7th by plating 8 runs! Some highlights of that inning include a 2 RBI single by Guerra and an RBI double by Quakertown’s own Owen Petrich of Delaware. After Kaiser added a run in the top of the 8th, Kilinski capped the scored with a massive HR to make the final 14-3! The 4 Blazer pitchers combined to throw 4 scoreless innings, allowing only 1 hit while striking out 2. Joe Carrea of UConn earned the win by throwing a scoreless 6th. Kilinski won MVP honors for his effort in the game. Trevor stated that it was an honor to win MVP despite playing in the league for a short period of time.
