Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Bethlehem Catholic Golden Hawks hosted the Central Catholic Vikings! The Hawks got the scoring started in the 2nd quarter when Luke Thomas punched it in from the 2 yard line to make it 6-0. The Vikings evened the score in the 4th quarter thanks to a 1 yard by Caiden Shaffer to send the game into overtime. On the Vikings possession, Shaffer scored on another 1 yard run to and kicked the extra point to make it 13-6. On 4th down, Rahmel Terry scored on a 2 yard run to make it 13-12! Deciding to go for 2, Luke Thomas hit Jaiden Ellis-Lahey to give the Golden Hawks a 14-13 victory!! Ellis-Lahey stated after the game that it was a huge victory because it gave the Golden Hawks 1st place for the playoffs!!
