Greetings sports fanantics! Today I covered the Freedom Patriots home opener against the Pleasant Valley Bears. The Bears took a 2-0 lead of a Jack Smale 2 RBI single. The Bears would plate two more runs before the Patriots got on the board. Leading 4-1 in the top of the sixth, Smale would plate another run for the final tally of a 5-1 victory for the Bears. Jake would also pitch a complete game gem with 7 strikeouts. Congrats to the Bears!
