Freedom home opener

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Freedom Patriots hosted the Bethlehem Catholic Golden Hawks in their home opener. Both teams struggled early and were tied at 7 through one quarter. In the 2nd, The Hawks started to get hot and took a 22-16 lead at half thanks to a Alex Cercado buzzer beater. Becca would continue their hot shooting at led 32-27 after 3 quarters. However, the Pats would not quit and had one last possession with 15 seconds left in the game down 37-36. Nick Ellis nearly turned the ball over, but regained control and passed it to Jaden Tillet. Tillet would miss his first shot but he grabbed the rebound and scored on a putback with 0.2 seconds left to give the Patriots a 38-37 victory! Tillet stated after the game that it was an exciting way to end their home opener.
