Moravian holds on against Southern Lehigh

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Moravian Academy Lions hosted the Southern Lehigh Spartans. The Lions started off strong as they held the Spartans to 6 points has they went into half with a 16-6 lead. The Lions extend their lead to 31-19 midway through the 3rd quater, but the Spartans closed it on a 8-0 run to cut the deficit to 4. The Spartans closed the gap in half with 19 seconds left, but a techinal foul sent Luna Lopez to the line. She made one out of two and the Lions retained possession of the ball. The Spartans fouled Lopez and she made 1-2 free throws to close out the 44-40 Lions victory! Lopez stated it was a good victory heading into next week's s matchup with the Catasuaqua Rough Riders!
