Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Wilson lady Warriors played host to the William Allen Canaries. Both teams struggled in the 1st quarter, as the Canaries led 11-9. Midway through the 2nd quarter, the Warriors managed to tie the game up at 15 all. Then, Persea Rogers hit 2 straight buckets for the Canaries to give them the lead back 19-15. The Warriors wouldn't come close again, as the Canaries held them to only 7 points the rest of the game to as they proceeded to win big 50-23! Rogers stated after the game the 2 buckets in the 2nd helped her team regain their energy and composure.
