Greetings sports fanatics! On Thrusday, the Wilson Warriors hosted the Southern Lehigh Spartans! The Spartans got off to a hot start, leading 17-10 after the 1st quarter. The Warriors came alive in the 2nd, as they cut the Spartans lead to 2 at half 26-24. Both teams scored 20 points in the 3rd quater and SL held on to their lead 46-44. The Warriors tied the game at 55 and had one last shot near the end, but they couldn't get the ball off in time and the game headed into OT. Anthony Shaw took over for the Warriors, as he scored 9 of his 21 points in the extra quater, and the Warriors pulled away for a 67-62 victory! Shaw stated that it was a great win heading into the Warriors next 2 games against the Moravian Academy Lions and the Notre Dame Green Pond Crusaders.
