Comets stun Eagles, Knights advance in PIAA action

Greetings sports fanatics! Yesterday Freedom hosted a PIAA 2nd round doubleheader. The Abington Heights Comets came back from a 9 point deficit to upset the Bishop Shanahan Eagles 40-35 in game 1. Emily McDonald battled through knee problems that cost her last season to led the Comets with 14 points. The Scranton Knights held on for a 58-49 victory in game 2 over the West Chester Rustin Golden Knights. The Knights were led by Zya Small, a freshman who has offers from Boston College and and Penn State, with 24 points. Both players are looking forward to their quarterfinal matchups!
